Our team of talented, highly-trained physicians has extensive experience in orthopedic care and surgery. Outer Banks Orthopedics & Sports Medicine takes a partnership approach to healthcare, and focuses on the shared goal to get you back doing the things you love most. For many musculoskeletal conditions, there are a number of conservative measures that can be taken initially to either delay or omit the need for surgery. If surgery is needed, the team will walk through every aspect of your care with you and your family. Surgery is performed locally at The Outer Banks Hospital with a staff who have a long working history with the surgeons of Outer Banks Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

Medical Records

All requests for healthcare information or copies of healthcare records require a written authorization (Release Of Information Consent Form) completed by you or your legal agent/representative. Due to the confidential nature of personal health information, records cannot be faxed. Requested health information can be obtained through MyChart, emailed via a secure server, sent via the United States Postal Service to the address as indicated by you on your consent form or picked up at Outer Banks Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. When picking up records, a form of identification (photo ID preferred) must be presented before the records are released to ensure you (or your legal agent) is the only person(s) obtaining your records.
