Outer Banks Women's Care

Outer Banks Women's Care

Outer Banks Women's Care is designed with you in mind. The practice offers local and comprehensive care for women of all ages and has a team of both male and female providers so that you can decide with whom you are most comfortable. They are located adjacent to The Outer Banks Hospital in the Medical Office Building for your convenience.

Outer Banks Women's Care offers prenatal care followed by delivery at The Outer Banks Hospital so that you and your family don't have to travel off the beach. If you require surgery, we perform all surgeries in the state-of-the-art operating suite at The Outer Banks Hospital. All the staff at Outer Banks Women's Care work to partner with you in your health care.

The practice recently received the the Mother-Baby award for outpatient health care clinics from the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition (NCBC). Awardees represent the best the state has to offer in terms of support for the breastfeeding family. This practice joins a growing number of recipients committed to evidence-based, high-quality breastfeeding support.
In order to earn this achievement, practices must complete advanced education in lactation support, provide quality patient education to ensure that mothers achieve their infant feeding goals, eliminate all advertising from infant formula manufacturers’ and ensure their patients have access to breastfeeding support in the community.
