Clayton “CJ” Evans, Jr. named Outer Banks Hospital Employee of the Month for February, 2018

CJ Evans, Bio-medical Technician II for Vidant Bio-medical Regional Outreach, is The Outer Banks Hospital’s February, 2018 Employee of the Month. Evans joined TOBH in March of 2017 and brought 15 years of experience with him.

Just a few descriptors that were repeated again and again by his peers are that CJ is a dedicated professional, a great communication, and well-dressed! Evans consistently demonstrates accountability through his prompt responses to equipment troubles. He is dedicated to his role and always come through with any requests made of him.

“CJ sets the example for “Standards of Performance” as he is dedicated, reliable and self-motivated,” stated Brandy Nunnery, Director of Facilities Services. “He communicates well and exhibits professionalism in his appearance and his demeanor.”

Another item of note is Evans’ dedication to patient safety. He ensures that bio-medical equipment is repaired and maintained quickly and correctly. One of his major contributions since joining TOBH has been raising the compliance level of our equipment.

After being surprised with the recognition, Evans stated, “I am very honored and humbled to be selected as The Outer Banks Hospital Employee of the Month. It’s refreshing to see all members of the team engaged, always willing to lend a hand, and be supportive.” He concluded, “I am TRULY grateful to be a part of this great organization!”
