Outer Banks, NC – Businesses along the Outer Banks are joining the fight against breast cancer by participating in The Outer Banks Hospital Development Council’s GET PINKED! Campaign. The mission of the campaign is to raise funds and awareness of breast cancer in Dare County.

It was a bright and sunny Outer Banks day when OBX Bank (below) got “pinked” at the Nags Head branch. Proudly riding in the back seat of the pink convertible are (L-R) Ray White chairman of OBX Bank and Carl Curnutte, board member of The Outer Banks Hospital Development Council and co-chair of the GET PINKED! Campaign. OBX Bank employees: Jessica, Heather, Lori, Phyllis, Penny, Gail, Terri, Casey, Katy, and Dee were thanked for their commitment to the important initiative. Ray White, David McGlaughon, Stuart Bell, Margaret Wells, Charles Hardy, Bobby Harrell, Tim Beecham, Kaye Jones, and Bob Walker of OBX Bank were instrumental in their fund-raising success.

How can you GET PINKED? Raise $1,000 and partner with The Outer Banks Hospital’s Get Pinked! Campaign to fight breast cancer in Dare County.
