Outer Banks, NC – On October 1, The Outer Banks Hospital’s Development Council officially kicked-off their Get Pinked! Campaign in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The hospital’s board of directors displayed their commitment to Get Pinked! mission by donating more than $1,000 to the campaign.
“The board of directors is proud to be recognized as a Get Pinked! partner,” said Bobby Owens board chairman. “The work of the campaign for the people of Dare County is a remarkable partnership between the community and the hospital. Together, we are working to provide the best care for our community.” Owens added, “I am grateful to those who have contributed to the campaign and the fine folks who are running it.”

The Get Pinked! Campaign Partnered with twenty-seven businesses and organizations on the Outer Banks who joined together and pledged to give every woman and man in Dare County the very best chance to survive the disease of breast cancer.
